This year with the generous support of the Department of Education we have been able to develop the amenities at Carinya
This year we have been improving the access to and use of the school amenities.
In 2019 we will be looking to improve the teaching resources and learning spaces with new furniture and interactive white boards and improving signage around the school.
School Amenities
The two major projects for 2018 were the installation of a pedestrian pathway and the erection of shade sails over the courtyard to providing relief from the summer sun.
2019 School Image and Logo
During Semester 2 of this year Carinya School employed the services of the advertising and design company “Out of The Woods “ to provided us with advice on the image and representation of Carinya school .
After spending time in and around the school, visiting classes and talking to staff, Out of the Woods has recommended that we renew our logo and signage. The consultants were impressed with the work of students and professionalism of the staff. It was noted that our current motto “Building Confidence Knowledge and Independence” reflects well the practise of our school and should be highlighted into the future.
